Merchants

A variety of items can be purchased to provide an advantage for your character while you are hunting. Armor and weapons will provide additional defense for your character and can be purchased from NPCs in all the major cities. Potions, bags, portal stones, and many other items can also be purchased from the Sundries merchant. Check the map while you are in a city to look for these shops: the weapon shop will have a sword icon; armor shop will have a shield icon; and the sundries merchant will have a potion bottle icon. When you approach the NPC, right click it to open the dialogue window and select the option "I would like to trade". This will bring the shop window up on your screen. Be sure to check for multiple tabs at the top of the shop menu for more options of items that merchant sells. You can purchase arrows and bolts from the weapon merchant in these tabs, as well as bags and other items from the Sundries merchant. While purchasing weapons or armor from a merchant you will have the option to purchase magical weapons as well. These magical weapons have bonus stats (on top of the regular weapon), however, these additional stats will require your character to meet the appropriate skill requirements for Strength, Dexterity, or Intelligence (depending on the bonus your weapon received).
